The trading card market has been particularly volatile in recent weeks. While some Pokémon card prices are experiencing sharp increases in value, others are facing significant drops as new product releases and market adjustments take effect. 5. Team Rocket's Moltres ex - 229/182 - SV10: Destined Rivals (DRI) is influencing recent Pokémon card prices.
One of the biggest talking points has been the Moltres from Dust and Rivals. Just a month ago, this card was fetching close to £190 on the market. However, with the announcement of the Moltres UPC featuring this exact card as a promo, the value fell sharply, dropping to around £130.
Despite the raw card price decline, PSA 10s remain strong, with recent sales hitting approximately £450.
4. Seismitoad - 105/086 - SV: Black Bolt (BLK)
The Sizable Toad from Black Bolt experienced one of the most dramatic Pokémon card prices swings. Initially pumped up to £250, the card has since fallen back down to around £100.

1. Roaring Moon ex - 251/182 - SV04: Paradox Rift (PAR)
Finally, the Roaring Moon from Paradox Rift has also been trending downwards. Initially priced around £60, it has fallen into the £35–£40 range.
However, signs of recovery are appearing, with prices beginning to tick upwards again. This could represent a solid buying opportunity at current levels, especially since PSA 10s are selling for £250–£260.
