5 Pokémon Cards That Have Recently Increased in Value

The Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) market is constantly shifting, with some cards experiencing sudden spikes in value due to popularity, rarity, or buyouts. If you happen to have duplicates of certain promos or rare pulls lying around, now might be the time to check their market value. Keeping an eye on Pokémon card prices can help collectors and investors spot opportunities. Below, we take a look at several cards that have recently seen significant price increases.

Mew ex – Celebrations: Classic Collection (CCC) Pokémon card prices

The Mew ex from the Celebrations set has seen one of the most notable increases. Just a month ago, this card was trading for around £5–£6, but it has since surged to approximately £20–£25. Graded copies have also spiked, with PSA 10s selling anywhere between £120 and £200 depending on market conditions.

Pikachu - 088 - SV: Scarlet & Violet Promo Cards (SVP)

Another promo card experiencing a rise in demand is the Pikachu from the Paldea Adventure Chest. Once valued at only £4, it is now reaching up to £16–£20. For collectors seeking top condition, PSA 10 copies are achieving prices of around £125–£145.

Lance's Charizard V - SWSH133 - SWSH: Sword & Shield Promo Cards (SWSD)

Lance’s Charizard promo from the Celebrations Collection Boxes has also increased dramatically. Around a year ago, it was priced at just £1.60, and more recently, it was trading for about £3. Today, the card is fetching over £10, reflecting the broader surge in Pokémon card prices. PSA 10 graded versions have climbed to around £160.

Rayquaza - SWSH04: Vivid Voltage (SWSH04)

The Rayquaza Amazing Rare, featured in Vivid Voltage, has seen an impressive surge as well. Previously selling for £4–£5, the card now commands £16–£20. PSA 10 examples are valued between £120 and £135, highlighting continued interest in the Amazing Rare category.

Marnie’s Morpeko - SV: Scarlet & Violet Promo Cards (SVP)

One of the most striking price movements comes from the Marnie’s Morpeko promo card included in the League Battle Decks. Originally priced at around £12, it now reaches as high as £35–£45. Just recently, a buyout of 80 copies caused a spike in sales. PSA 10 graded versions are particularly strong, ranging between £260 and £400.
